Standing Chi Kung (Qigong)

"Drink life from the
air that you breathe."

A long held secret of the Chinese internal
martial arts, standing chi kung, known as
zhan zhuang, has been a key practice for
building energy, opening vital chi channels,
and for meditation. In China it is also known
for helping to heal a wide range of physical
ailments. It is the practice associated with
the so-called macrocosmic orbit of chi circulation,
known to Taoists as, "The Greater Wheel
of Heaven." In tai chi chuan training, it is often
referred to as Wujishi Breathing Meditation.
