"In tai chi we create a structure
and relax into it.
We let go of muscular strength (li)
and move with mind intent (yi)."

"Tai chi is easy because
it's based on simple rules.
Tai chi is hard because
you have to follow all of
the simple rules at the same time."

"The classic principles of tai chi
are a road map to tai chi refinement."

Focused concentration will provide
you with a garden of your own."

Taichi class in its Chinese birthplace takes on global zeal

Taichi Class in Its Chinese Birthplace

Takes On Global Zeal

Marvin Dietzmann-kolbe and many other foreigners
are learning authentic Taichi in Chenjiagou Village
in central China's Henan Province, the home of Taichi.
After a rush of foreigners came to China to learn Kungfu
in places like the Shaolin Temple, Taichi becomes
a new fashion. Instead of fierce confrontation, Taichi
demands slow movement and benefits people's health.
