Traditional Sun Style Tai Ji Quan 97 Step - Demonstration by Master Faye Yip

Traditional Sun Style Tai Chi Chuan is one of the five,
orthodox or traditional Tai Chi Chuan styles.
It was created by Grand Master Sun Lu Tang,
who combined the inner essence of three
major styles of internal Chinese martial arts,
namely, Xing Yi Chuan, Tai Chi Chuan, and Bagua Chan,
to form this unique system of Tai Chi Chuan.

Here it is demonstrated by Master Faye Yip.

In the 1980s Harvard doctor, David Eisenberg, MD, spent years in Beijing learning about qi, the life force, so much a part of Chinese medicine, martial arts, and culture. In his book, ENCOUNTERS WITH QI, he tells of his studies at a hospital using medical qigong and of his meetings with qi experts, demonstrating incredible powers. During his studies, Eisenberg was interviewed for a Bill Moyers PBS television series,

THE IMMORTAL PATH...

The Tao of Tai Chi Chuan

Trailer by Empty Mind Films

Trailer for our new release The Immortal Path... The Tao of Tai Chi Chuan. Filmed at Wudang Mountain. There is no martial art as closely aligned with a religious faith as that of Tai Chi Chuan and Taoism. Tai Chi can be called the Tao in motion. The classic Chinese text, Tao Te Ching is a guide to the principles of Tai Chi Chuan.

As Wudang Taoist master Zhong Yun Long states “The Tao Te Ching tells us that everything in the universe changes and is the balance of Yin and Yang. This is also the heart of Tai Chi Chuan.”

Master Zhong Yun Long broke years of solitary Tai Chi practice and meditation to come down from his Mountain cave and resume teaching at his Kungfu school, San Feng Pai. In the Immortal Path we explore this and other Wudang schools of Tai Chi to uncover the secrets of ‘tapping into our potential’ and to reach the goal of Taoist practice… to become an immortal.
