Volume 54 - Yang Banhou Style Taijiquan

Part 2

Master Yu Xiaolin of Shanghai reviews the first two sections of the Yang Banhou style 81 movement taijiquan long form. The form repetition on this title focuses on the third section of the form. This is an instructional title with form repetition sections repeated four times. It concludes with a demonstration of the entire long form at normal practice speed.

(Yang Banhou (1837-1890) was the son of Yang Style founder, Yang Luchan (1799-1872) and uncle to Yang Cheng Fu (1883-1936). He was famous for his powerful fighting skills though there are few today who teach his forms. His small frame forms were influential to the development of Wu Style tai chi. - TaiChi_John)
