Stop the Spread of FAKE Tai Chi

Online Tai Chi instructor certification programs is FAKE Tai Chi and an insult to those who devote themselves to the study of its deep philosophical and martial art. Understanding of Tai Chi takes time to cultivate. In the United States, there is no oversight authority for Tai Chi and a Tai Chi teaching "certificate" is not a real thing unless it is given by a respected school or master.

Shifu Shirley provides pointers on how to evaluate good and bad Tai Chi and shows how two of YouTube’s highest viewed Tai Chi videos are actually fake Tai Chi.

However, we hear loud and clear that there is a great need for more easily digestible content for beginner Tai Chi students! We will make a Beginner Tai Chi playlist on this YouTube channel and upload small digestible pieces of content to introduce authentic Tai Chi to beginners. And as always, the first five days of every month our 60+ hours of instructional videos are free access to the public.
